The cold and wet conditions of Wellington are making life difficult for Phoenix triallist Bambang Pamungkas.
The Indonesian striker is on trial with the A-League club but hasn't been greeted by the best weather for football, especially when he is used to things being much warmer and drier.
Phoenix coach Herbert admitted that was the case but said Pamungkas definitely had some attributes worth looking at.
"He's probably gone from 38 to three degrees. It's tough for him - it probably wasn't ideal but he's a good little player in and around the box," Herbert told the Dominion Post.
"Whether that's what we need and whether we can go with that type of player, I don't know. But he's a chance."
