Watford are ready to swoop for Alaves fullback Kiko Femenia.

The former Barcelona B captain has rejected a new contract offer from Alaves and will leave at the end of this month.

Femenia has been in pre-contract talks with Watford this year, with Catalan media sources insisting an agreement has long been struck.

The defender also has offers from Spain and Portugal.

However, for the moment, Watford are regarded as favourites to sign Femenia on a Bosman next month.
