Premier League new boys Watford are not interested in signing unsettled Liverpool striker Mario Balotelli, reports the Watford Observer.

The 25-year-old, who is no longer training with the Reds' first-team squad, was linked with a move to the Hornets by Sky Italia on Tuesday night.

However, the Observer confirms, in no uncertain terms, that those reports are acutely false as Hornets hold no interest in the Italian striker.

It was believed that Watford wonder Giampaolo Pozzo was set to make a move his fellow countryman but the reports are mere speculation
