Watford are chasing Sunderland striker Danny Graham.

The Journal says the Championship side are understood to have made a formal enquiry for the 28-year-old, who spent the best spell of his stuttering career with the Hornets.

Reports in London suggest Graham would be keen on a return to the club where he scored 41 goals in 98 games between 2009 and 2011 and was the club's player of the year in his second season at Vicarage Road.
