Watford defender Danny Rose has asked to preseason training with former club Tottenham.
Rose still has a year to run on his Watford deal, having joined last season from Spurs.
The Watford Observer says while he considers his options, Rose is being put through his paces at Spurs, having requested to train with the Premier League club.
The 29-cap England international only played eight times for Watford in the top-flight in 2021-22, with the last of those appearances coming back in early December.
He fell out of favour under former manager Claudio Ranieri, but failed to get a transfer back in January.
A move away now seems inevitable, though, with Rose not even currently training at the club he is currently employed by.
