Watford boss Aidy Boothroyd has confirmed that two more clubs have joined Fulham in the race to sign striker Marlon King.

"We've had further contact from Fulham and interest from two other Premier League clubs enquiring about the situation," Boothroyd told the Watford Observer.

"I am hoping the situation will be resolved by the end of this week. Whether Marlon plays for Watford, Fulham or the other two on Saturday I can't tell you."
