Norway captain Odegaard signed for the Gunners last week from Real Madrid in a permanent deal. The midfielder spent the second-half of last season on-loan with Arsenal.

Arteta is delighted with Odegaard's arrival, congratulating sporting director Edu on the deal. The manager insists Odegaard always wanted to make a return this summer.
