Stephen Warnock has revealed he and Alan Hutton have been told their Aston Villa futures are over.

Warnock who was signed in an £8million deal from Blackburn Rovers in 2009, reckons Villa right-back Hutton has played his last game for Paul Lambert's side.

He said: "Myself and Alan Hutton had been deemed surplus to requirements.

"The manager had his own way of doing things but I'm not looking back at that now.

"It was difficult but you've got to respect that each manager makes his own decisions."
