Wales boss Giggs labels Ampadu handball harsh

Ryan Giggs believes it was a 'harsh' decision by the referee to award Denmark a penalty in Wales 2-0 defeat on Sunday.

The Dragons won the opening match of their group 4-1 against the Republic of Ireland on Thursday, before this loss to Denmark.

And the Welsh head coach thinks the second goal of Tottenham star Christian Eriksen, which was scored from the penalty spot after a handball from Chelsea teenager Ethan Ampadu, decided the game.

"Was it a penalty? It looked harsh. After that it was an uphill task against a good team," Giggs said after the match.
