Mirko Vucinic is close to signing a new four-year contract with Roma.

Corriere dello Sport says Roma are offering the young striker a deal worth £2.5m a year that will last until the end of the 2012-13 season.

The former Lecce youngster had been holding out for a contract in excess of £2m and appears to be about to get what he wants.
