Tottenham have tabled a bid for AZ Alkmaar striker Vincent Janssen.

De Telegraaf says Spurs have offered €15 million for the Holland international, who was in London yesterday to discuss personal terms.

It's been revealed Janssen is being offered a massive €3 million salary - which would put him on par with former Ajax pair Jan Vertonghen and Christian Eriksen.

Janssen, who has been likened to Manchester United legend Ruud van Nistelrooy, has a contract with AZ to 2019.

The prolific forward is excited about the prospect of moving to London after Tuesday's meeting with Spurs officials.
