Juan Roman Riquelme has completed his move from Villarreal to Boca Juniors.

The Argentina international midfielder said: "It is a special day for me, because I'm coming home to my club."

Boca still have hopes of fielding Riquelme in next month's Club World Championship and the midfielder added: "We must wait 24-48 hours. The legal department of Fifa must solve the issue in a humane manner."
