Aston Villa are braced for bids to take away their superstar central midfielder this winter.

The Midlands club are aware of other teams' interest in Douglas Luiz, which has dated back months.

Arsenal tried to sign Luiz last winter and in the summer transfer window as well.

Per The Mail, Villa believe they can hold onto Luiz, given their outstanding season so far.

The Midlands club are firmly in the title race, having beaten Arsenal and Manchester City in recent games.

Luiz is happy at Villa Park, while the club value him a lot higher than the £25 million clubs bid for him in the summer.
