Former Italy striker Christian Vieri believes Fiorentina would have finished top four this if Dusan Vlahovic had stayed.

The Serbia striker was sold in January to Juventus.

“Fiorentina deserve congratulations because they play really good football," Vieri said on Bobo TV.

“I think that if Vlahovic had stayed in Florence, the Viola could've taken fourth place this season."

Vieri was reacting to Fiorentina's 3-2 win at Napoli.

He continued, "Napoli didn't do enough, they relied only on getting Victor Osimhen running and hope for the best. I would've played Osimhen and Dries Mertens together from the start.

“Those who score ought to play, the system isn't as important as that."
