Italian Serie A side Hellas Verona are contemplating a move for Leeds United defender Giuseppe Bellusci, according to reports emerging out of Italy.

Verona are rooted to the bottom of the Italian top flight and are looking to strengthen their squad in January in order to give themselves a chance of avoiding the drop.

Reinforcing the backline will be a priority for Verona and now according to Sky Sport Italia, the Serie A strugglers are eyeing a £4million swoop for Leeds centre-half Bellusci who joined the English Championship outfit from Catania in the summer of 2014.
