Teitur Thordarson is excited about Camilo da Silva Sanvezzo who is currently on trial with MLS expansion franchise Vancouver Whitecaps.

The Whitecaps coach will play the 22-year old striker in a pre-season game against LA Galaxy early this week and was looking forward to seeing what he can do on the pitch.

"I think he has done very well so far. He showed some great things on the field yesterday - things I really liked. It will be interesting to see because I'm going to start him [today]," he said.

Camilo kicked off his professional career in his homeland with Corinthians Alagoano before joining Maltese outfit Qormi FC. He has since played with K-League club Gyeongnam but is currently a free agent.
