MLS expansion franchise Vancouver Whitecaps are expected to enter into a partnership with Bell communications it has been reported.

A media conference will be held in Vancouver to announce the agreement which will see Bell emblazoned on the playing strips of the Whitecaps when they enter MLS in 2011.

It is believed that several other major companies were interested in the Whitecaps' jersey sponsorship deal with Telus and BMO, who sponsor Toronto FC, the two who reportedly missed out.
