Pachuca midfielder Luis Chávez is interesting Valencia.
Los Che have made contact with Pachuca over a move for the 26-year-old, as they look to cover the absence of Nico González, says Sport.
González, who is on loan at Valencia from Barcelona, has been ruled out for up to three months after suffering a fractured metatarsal in his left foot.
Chávez, who helped Pachuca to their seventh Mexican title in the Apertura 2022 tournament, has rejected an offer from fellow Liga MX club Monterrey and is prioritising a move to European football.
Although he remains under contract at Pachuca until 2025, Los Tuzos do not tend to stand in star players' way when it comes to selling them. In recent times, Hirving Lozano and Erick Gutiérrez are stand-out examples of this transfer policy.
