Valencia coach Rino Gattuso says he has plans for two additions in January.

Gattuso has detailed what he hopes to achieve during the winter transfer window next month.

He told Marca: "We are working. It is as Miguel (Corona, sporting director) has said sign for sign we will not. If they can come, two players who are going to help the team, surely we will sign. But if there is a possibility of improving the team, signing to sign, we will not do it."

Asked about the positions. Gattuso was clearer than ever: "We honestly have three wide forwards, I'm missing one. We have five midfielders, I'm missing one because in all positions we have two players per position and we are working on it.

"In the centre of the field we have two pivots that are Nico and Hugo Guillamón. It is done. If we are going to sign a midfielder it will not be a pivot but to play on the right or the left."
