Valencia coach Marcelino: You're wrong Zizou!

Valencia coach Marcelino was unhappy with the claims of Zinedine Zidane last night.

Despite seeing his Real Madrid defeated 2-1 at the Mestalla, Zidane was adamant they were the superior team.

But Marcelino said: "I think Madrid dominated the first few minutes, in which we lacked precision to get out of their high pressure. Then we had difficulties to have possession, not control of the game. I think we have been very superior to Madrid, I disagree with Zidane. I think that on merit, the victory could have a greater result."

It was Valencia's first victory against a top three team, but the coach added: "We were always close to the big teams. We actually earned several draws and we were robbed of a victory in the final minutes. The results were always adjusted to the 1-4 against Real Madrid last season. And I do not know if you consider Manchester United small, medium or big, because in Manchester we beat them."
