Valencia coach Bordalas happy with Granada point; discusses Guedes future

Valencia coach Jose Bordalas was satisfied with their 1-1 draw against Granada.

Bordalas was happy with the character by his players away from home.

He stated: "The team made a great effort. They tried and we had a magnificent first half; we had chances to go into the break in the lead, and it's a shame about that goal in which we were overconfident in defence, but the team tried and in the second half we managed to equalise.

"They made changes and they freshened up their team, which was normal. The team tried to the end, and I congratulate the players on the draw. They put in a great effort and I think it's a fair result."

Bordalas was also asked about transfer rumours for Goncalo Guedes.

He added: "I am convinced that players will come in. I have full confidence because the team need it. Right now we are not thinking about the possibility of any player leaving, although between now and the transfer market closing we do not know what may happen. If there is an offer for a player that is economically interesting, it will be studied. This is how football works, but right now I have no news that anyone is going to leave."
