Uruguay coach Marcelo Bielsa is full of praise for Athletic Bilbao midfielder Oscar de Marcos.

Bielsa coached De Marcos at Athletic.

He said, "He is in that location of great players of whom I have great memories forever.

"He is one of the best people I know in football and one of those players of great human quality.

"De Marcos is a man who lives around rules that make his behavior admirable. And that will allow him to be happier when he stops playing and when he receives recognition from the fans, for the way he has behaved."
