Udinese coach Lele Cioffi says defeat at Genoa was the worst performance of his career.
The Zebrette lost 2-0 on Saturday.
Cioffi said: "If you christen Genoa as a small team...To be honest, I say that it was the worst match of my management.
"It's not a concept of big or small. We are aware that we have to score points without seeing big or small. That's not the key.
"We studied but we 'missed' the oral exam. We had an orderly half hour where we could have been calmer in bringing out their midfielders. Instead we were too direct and hasty and we created problems for ourselves.
"After the goal of 1-0 it is as if the plug had been pulled. Paradoxically, the second half was braver than the first."
