The ruling family of the United Arab Emirates are ready to buy into Liverpool.
The Mirror says according to reports from the Middle East, members of the Ras al-Khaimah family are seeking talks with the club's owners to discuss possible investments.
They want American co-owners George Gillett and Tom Hicks to fly to the UAE to open negotiations about buying into the ailing club.
A senior official close to the Ras al-Khaimahs said representatives from Liverpool "may be coming next week".
