Tranmere Rovers boss Les Parry has signed a new one-year contract at Prenton Park after guiding the club to safety last season. "Les has transferred his undoubted skills as a physiotherapist into management extremely well," said Tranmere chairman Peter Johnson. "He has taken to the role with the level of dedication and commitment that has been typical of his work during his career at the club.
"His aim when he took over as manager was to keep the club in League One and he was successful. I'm delighted to extend his contract and look forward to seeing the changes he will make to the playing squad ahead of the new season."
Parry added: "I'm really pleased the chairman and board of directors have shown their faith in me by asking me to continue as manager. I have really enjoyed my first eight months in the position and can't wait for the next season to begin."
