Andros Townsend is determined to 'hit the ground running' next season.
The Tottenham winger endured a stop-start campaign, making just 10 Premier League starts under Mauricio Pochettino, as he struggled with ankle and foot injuries.
But that did not deter England boss Roy Hodgson from selecting him in his squad for this weekend's friendly with the Republic of Ireland and next Sunday's Euro2016 qualifier against Slovenia.
On the back of that, Townsend is looking to use the summer as a chance to get himself 100% in order to return to his solid form of 2013/14.
"Hopefully I can come back raring to go, fully fit and hit the ground running as I did two years ago," he told Sky Sports News HQ.
"If I'm playing for my club, it means I'm playing well. If I'm playing well for my club, the England stuff will come out of that."
