Tottenham are reportedly continuing to show interest in Real Madrid midfielder Mateo Kovacic.

Spanish publication Fichajes is reporting Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino has identified Kovacic as a player who can strengthen his squad ahead of next season's Champions League campaign.

It is understood La Liga outfit Sevilla are also interested in a loan move for the 21-year-old Croatian international.

Kovacic is reportedly eager for more regular first team football after making just seven starting appearances for Madrid this campaign.
