Tottenham intend to bid for Chelsea midfielder Conor Gallagher in the coming days.

The Athletic says Spurs will try for Gallagher before the winter market deadline falls.

Chelsea are prepared to sell Gallagher to ease Financial Fair Play pressure.

And they will send the midfielder to Tottenham if an offer of £50m arrives in the next week.

Gallagher has also been linked with Newcastle this month.
