Tottenham teenager Dylan Duncan was drafted in to take part in an England training session.
The 17-year-old was called into action by interim boss Gareth Southgate after Wayne Rooney and Ryan Bertrand both missed training because of injury.
England, who are training at Spurs' training ground in Enfield, are preparing for their international friendly with Spain on Tuesday.
With only 19 outfield players fit for training, Southgate wanted an extra body to make the session an even number.
Formerly on the books of Southend the teenager is part of the Tottenham U17 and U21 teams.
