Tottenham striker Son: We've missed Conte's energy; AC Milan most important game of season

Tottenham striker Heung-min Son says the players are happy manager Antonio Conte is back.

Conte, having recovered from gallbladder surgery, will be in the dugout for Tottenham's Champions League round 16 second-leg clash with AC Milan.

Son said, "I am glad the manager is sitting next to me. He brings good energy for the team.

"When he was not here, the staff did a good job, but yesterday we could feel his energy and passion again. When he is on the touchline that will give us a boost and amazing energy. Tomorrow could be the most important game of the season. It is everyone's dream to play in the Champions League.

"We have to prepare well and have a clear plan. I think if we can turn this around this will give us confidence for the remainder of the season and a nice boost.

"It was painful last week to be knocked out of the FA Cup [by Sheffield United]. We are still in the Champions League and fighting for top four."
