Tottenham striker Richarlison apologised to his family after Brazil's World Cup elimination by Croatia.

Brazil are out of Qatar 2022 after losing their quarterfinal penalty shootout.

Richarlison was in tears following the defeat in Qatar on Friday evening, telling reporters after the game: “Now it's time to suffer a little.

"I have to apologise to our family members and our fans who believed in us until the end.

"Now it's time to go to the bedroom and cry because we are human beings, we are flesh and blood."
