Tottenham striker Richarlison is undergoing a scan on his injured calf today.
The Brazilian was in tears after he pulled up in the second half of Spurs' 2-0 win over Everton on Saturday and will undergo tests to determine how long he is sidelined, says the London Evening Standard.
Richarlison fears he has suffered a similar injury to the one which kept him out for two months when he was at Everton.
With under six weeks until Brazil play their first game of the World Cup against Serbia on November 24, that would leave his hopes of playing in Qatar hanging by a thread.
Antonio Conte has already ruled Richarlison out of Wednesday's game against Manchester United at Old Trafford but the 25-year-old will hope for positive news from his scan.
