Tottenham striker Jermain Defoe says Arsenal legend Ian Wright remains an inspiration.
Wright acts as Defoe's mentor and will be delighted with the England ace's hat-trick last night.
Defoe said: "When I was young I used to study him, get videos and watch his movement. I think about his movement and finishing because he has been there and done it.
"When I was at West Ham at 16 he was at the club and always after training we used to practise movement and finishing and things like that. It has definitely stuck with me."
