Tottenham are still tracking Porto defender David Carmo.

A Bola says Spurs scouts were in attendance for Porto's victory over Braga.

And the subject of their interest was Carmo, who was heavily linked with a move to north London last season.

The 23-year-old , joined Porto this summer from Braga for around £18million and featured in the side which beat his former club.

Spurs expressed an interest in the versatile defender after he put himself on the radar of a number of top European clubs following a breakthrough campaign. Tottenham were believed to have opened negotiations, but a deal failed to materialise.
