Tottenham need to sell Wilson Palacios if they're to afford a deal for West Ham United striker Scott Parker.
The Daily Mail says Tottenham are confident of winning the race for Parker if they can complete the sale of Palacios to Napoli quickly.
Parker has been promised he can leave West Ham after relegation and, although the Hammers wanted £15million for him Tottenham, believe they can strike a deal at close to half that for a Championship player.
Palacios is wanted by Napoli, who have qualified for the Champions League next season, but Spurs want to recoup the bulk of the £12m they paid Wigan for the Honduran.
