Tottenham midfielder Skipp: Postecoglou a breath of fresh air

Tottenham midfielder Oliver Skipp is proud making 100 appearances for the club.

Skipp reached the landmark in Friday's FA Cup defeat to Manchester City.

“I would have liked to have got it in a win, of course, but it's something I'm very proud of. I've always said coming through the Academy, it's always a dream to pull on the shirt and play in front of those fans," he told the Spurs website.

“I'll reflect on it in a few days with immense pride but at the moment, I'm just disappointed we didn't get through to the next round, because that was the objective.

“I always want to keep improving, keep pushing. I don't take it lightly that I've managed to play 100 games for this Club, it's a big achievement and something I can always look back on, but, for me, it's about continuing to improve.

“We've had a new manager this season and he's been a breath of fresh air for everyone. There is a lot of improvement that needs to be done and can be done with this group, a young group, a lot of talented players playing in the league for the first time and will get better. So, we're all disappointed to lose against City, but promising signs."
