Tottenham midfielder James Maddison has likened his game to Manchester United ace Christian Eriksen.

Eriksen enjoyed great success with Spurs before leaving for Inter Milan.

They (Tottenham) have always had that type of player (who entertains)," said Maddison. "A midfielder who is creative, entertains the fans and is a personality.

"Christian Eriksen has been that for the past few years, but since him they probably haven't had that type of player.

"I would like to throw myself into that category. I'm not saying I'm the same level. I say, I am the same type of player."
