Tottenham defender Sergio Reguilon will be signing for Atletico Madrid on loan.

The left-back has been surplus to requirements at the London club this summer.

According to the Evening Standard, he will now secure a move to Atleti to take the squad place of Renan Lodi, who is heading to Nottingham Forest.

Reguilon signed from Real Madrid two years ago, but is not a good fit at Spurs in manager Antonio Conte's three-at-the-back system.

Joe Rodon, Giovani Lo Celso and Tanguy Ndombele have already left Spurs on loan, while Harry Winks could be heading to Sampdoria in the coming days.

Spurs have been working hard to trim their squad and wage bill in recent weeks.
