Tottenham Hotspur has launched a new Korean Twitter account to further engage its growing fanbase in the homeland of one of the club's star players, Heung-Min Son, reports www.fcbusiness.co.uk
Spurs already has a popular account on Naver TV – Korea's biggest digital streaming platform – as well as establishing a Korean language Facebook page, club website and Official Supporters' Club.
Speaking of the launch, Son, said: "It is great to know the importance my club places on our fans in Korea – this is something that has been clear from the moment I joined.
"I have seen first-hand the growing popularity of Spurs in my home country, with the amount of Korean fans that travel to watch us play.
"I am sure the new Twitter account will prove hugely popular – I am looking forward to being involved and bringing followers exclusive content."
