Tottenham hoping to sign Udinese left-back Udogie

Tottenham Hotspur are showing serious interest in Udinese's highly-rated left back Destiny Udogie.

The 19-year-old is already an Italy Under-21 international, having impressed in Serie A as well.

The Daily Mail reports that he is being chased by the likes of Manchester City, Inter Milan and Brighton.

However, Spurs are also throwing their hat in the ring, with Udinese hoping to secure the youngster back on loan for a year within any sale agreement.

The source states that Spurs may be willing to comply with this request, which is giving them an edge on some of their rivals for his signature.

The London club currently have Ivan Perisic and Ryan Sessegnon to fight for the left-wing-back spot.
