Tottenham goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario admits he's close to teammate Micky van de Ven.

Both players arrived in the summer at Spurs.

"I have a good feeling with Micky," Vicario said.

"He is a good lad and a very good guy for me. I try to speak to him and we try to help each other inside and outside the pitch," Vicario said in a club interview, in which he also called the Dutchman the funniest person in the squad along with Yves Bissouma.

"We try to spend a lot of time together, with Manor Solomon, with Destiny [Udogie], Cuti [Romero], with Rodrigo [Bentancur], with everyone, so I think we are a big group with very good feelings.

"This season is like a starting point for building something. When we train, when we stay together, it's very good, it's very passionate and we have to keep going with that."

He added: "We are very young. We hope to stay together for a long time because we have this quality, this togetherness, this desire to stay together and do something special. I can feel this now and during the years it will only get better and better.

"I don't know how much time we have to do something special but we have to stay in and hopefully be on the walls of that stadium forever, for eternity. That would be one of my best dreams."
