Tottenham fullback Kyle Walker holds no grudge against West Bromwich Albion defender Goran Popov.

He was gobbed at by the West Brom defender during Sunday's clash at The Hawthorns.

But after receiving a call yesterday from Popov, who was sent off for the incident, Walker said: "We have spoken and I've accepted his apology.

"There is no place for spitting in football, even in the heat of the moment.

"But the referee took the right action - it was a red card - and now it is all sorted."
