Tottenham fullback Pedro Porro is happy facing Manchester City in the FA Cup this weekend.

Porro famously was signed by City, though never played for the Sky Blues nor even met with manager Pep Guardiola.

He told AS: “As you want to look at it. They signed me from Girona and that love for trusting me at that moment, even if I didn't fit into their plans later, does make it a little special for me. They trusted me when we went down to the Segunda Division with Girona. Our paths separated, I wished them the best and they wished me the best to continue with my life.

“No, I have never spoken to him (Guardiola). I don't know why that would be. Maybe because he was leaving on loan and we didn't meet. But surely, if we had, we would have talked. For example, in the last home game I didn't have any problems. I was talking to Matheus Nunes and he (Pep Guardiola) passed by. We had a normal conversation.
