Tottenham have expressed interest in Barcelona striker Memphis Depay.

Sport says Depay is up for sale, despite the 28-year-old scoring 12 league goals in 28 games for Barca last season.

Barca coach Xavi and his staff like Depay and don't want to sell him - so he could remain at the club if no decent bids are made.

But Barca will be ready to accept a bid in the region of £17million for Depay, who wants to play in the Champions League.

Tottenham have registered their interest in the Dutchman, while Arsenal were also linked before their swoop for former Manchester City striker Gabriel Jesus.
