Tottenham defender Rodon open to Leeds stay

Tottenham defender Joe Rodon has dropped his strongest hint yet about his short-term future.

The 26-year-old defender has indicated that he would like remain at Leeds United next term.

Rodon wants to stay at Elland Road, if they return to the Premier League next season, as is expected.

He told the Wales YouTube channel: "Just playing of course is what everyone wants but I think all of us together, I think it would be a really nice kind of journey if we did get there [the Premier League]. With the journeys we've all been on, now it's all led us to this moment.

"I just think it would be great for the collective as well, all of us to be playing together in the Premier League."

Rodon has been impressive for Leeds in the Championship this term, but Spurs want around £20 million for his permanent transfer.
