Tottenham defender Eric Dier has admitted it is too early to talk about the league title.

Despite being top of the pile for several weeks, Spurs are now among the teams fighting for a top four spot.

Two defeats in a week means that reality has set in for Ange Postecoglou's team, with Dier stating that teams cannot be called title challengers in November.

"We're still at the start of the season, there is still a long way to go," he stated, per the Press Association.

"I am experienced enough to know anything is possible."

In the same interview, Dier admitted he may return to old club Sporting CP later in his career.
