Tottenham chief Levy against Wembley sale

Tottenham CEO Daniel Levy says he is against the sale of Wembley to Shahid Khan.

Fulham owner Khan wants to buy Wembley from the Football Association for £600m.

It is believed Khan sees the stadium as a potential home for his NFL franchise, the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Tottenham are currently playing at Wembley while the construction of their new stadium continues.

Levy's opinion on the matter was recorded during a meeting he held last week with the Tottenham Hotspur Supporters' Trust.

He stated that Khan's plans would not impact Tottenham but that "he was against the sale of Wembley regardless".
