Tottenham captain Heung-min Son: I couldn't feel my foot

Tottenham captain Heung-min Son has played down injury concerns after breaking down in action for South Korea.

During the World Cup qualifying win against Singapore, Son was forced to sit down on the pitch and receive treatment.

But the injury turned out not to be serious, as Son played all 90 minutes.

"I'm fine now. I don't like lying down for a long time. At the moment I could not feel my foot," he recalled.

"All the players have minor injuries, so it's not just me, but we still play for the team. We are in the process of creating a team for the WC finals.

"I can't give up because I'm in a little pain. If I can't run anymore, I can't do anything, but when I can run, I have to give 100 percent for the team."
