Tottenham boss Jose Mourinho is willing to stick with Gareth Bale for the entire season.

Bale is on a straight loan from Real Madrid and there is talk his form and fitness problems has management already writing off the prospect of signing him permanently.

However, The Times says Mourinho wants to give Bale the entire campaign to prove his worth.

The Spurs manager won't close the door on buying Bale outright - so long he meets expectations.

Bale's contract with Real Madrid runs to 2022.
