Tottenham boss Conte: Skipp and Sarr will make UCL debuts tonight at AC Milan

Tottenham boss Antonio Conte says Oliver Skipp and Papa Matar Sarr will feature tonight at AC Milan.

Conte has confirmed that Skipp and Sarr will play their part in the Champions League round of 16 opener with AC Milan.

Following the confirmation that Rodrigo Bentancur has ruptured his anterior cruciate ligament and the knowledge that, after picking up two yellow cards in our group stage campaign, Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg will be suspended for the game while Yves Bissouma remains unavailable after he recently underwent surgery following a stress fracture to his left ankle, the two youngsters will be called upon as Spurs take on the Italian giants.

Speaking in his pre-match press conference at the San Siro, Conte said: "We have the solution in our house. We have two young players, (Oliver) Skipp and Pape Matar Sarr. We have two young players, their first games in the Champions League.

"We have to be good to help them overcome the emotion and we trust them. We want to use this period to become stronger, to face difficulty in the right way. Tomorrow we have to suffer to overcome the difficulty in the right way."
